A cold is caused by a virus. The discharge is normally clear and from both nostrils. Other symptoms include cough, mild fever, headache, earache, red watery eyes. There is usually sneezing, congestion (blocked nose), breathing through the nose is difficult.

Sleeping

Difficulty in sleeping may be caused by stress, anxiety, pain, prostate problems or it may be a temporary problem of unknown cause.
  • Set a pattern for retiring and rising each day to encourage regular times of sleep onset.
